Be Strong and have Courage

When I stop and consider what many other christians go through in our world, I would say that we have it pretty easy here in Canada and also in the United States. When it comes to sharing about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we have a great deal of freedom. There are countries that at the mention of the name of Jesus unless they renounce Him, they are continually tortured or killed or both. They do not have the freedom to speak out as we do. They cannot freely carry a bible with them. And yet everyday they risk their lives and share the gospel anyway. So whats wrong with us, why aren't we out there sharing the Love of Jesus. Its time for us to stand up and be strong for our Lord and have the courage as they do share the gospel and live the way we should for Jesus. For it costs us little here compared to the price they pay, or the price Jesus paided.

Joshua 1:9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Pray for the boldness and the courage to share the gospel with those that are perishing. I sure dont put myself up on a pedistal, by any means. I admit there are times when I am intimidated by someone and I step back, but for the most when God opens a door, I walk through it. I asked God for boldness and praise His name.  He gave me the boldness that I asked for.  He will do the same for you. I love to share the gospel. I get talked about and ridiculed. I am sure i will be ridiculed for this message. But so what, thats a small price to pay when it comes to someones soul. It is not meant to belittle anybody but to stress the importance of getting the message of Christs' plan of salvation out before its to late for some that are perishing. The bible is Gods word and when it is spoken, it does not return to Him void.

Isaiah 55:11  So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

There's souls at stake people its up to us that know Jesus to get out there and share. Its the great commission.

Mark 16:16  " Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

Maybe dedicate your blog to the Lord, it will go out into all the world. Let that be the start that you need to share. Or tell your neighbor, or your friend, tell a stranger. We need to start somewhere. Your boldness will grow as you share. I gaurentee it because God is faithful, and its what He told us to do. Maybe this message is somewhat strong for you, but Jesus didnt pussyfoot around, He never stopped sharing salvation, even to His death. Now its our turn. Amen ?? God Loves You

God Afternoon, A friend of mine sent me this quite some time ago "Where Are You God ?" I felt led to post it for todays message. I know where there are times in my walk with the Lord Jesus, I have felt this way. I dont think there are any christians that have not felt this at one time or another in there walk with Jesus.

You know my heart breaks for the youth. This morning I was reading a blog of a young girl who feels that every body hates her. Which has led me to post a message to reach teens with Christ's love. In these end times the enemy (satan) is having a field day with the youth, they are turning to drugs, alcohol, cults, witchcraft, cutting themselves, sexual permisquity, and so many other terrible things trying to find acceptance and love. Only Jesus can fill these empty places in your hearts and lives. God gave His only Son Jesus for you.

John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Getting into all these other things will only bring you more heartache and pain. God is such a loving God and He loves YOU so very much and will forgive you of all your sins, He knows the pain and hurts you are going thru, He has seen the tears you have cried, and He wants so much for you to turn to Him so He can help you. He will not just interfere in your life for He gave us our own free will. Its up to you to turn to Him sincerely and give your heart to His Son Jesus and He will help you to turn your life around and bring you peace and joy in your life.

 Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

John 14:27 " Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

You may say, well you dont understand your an adult. Well, I have been on my own since I was only 14 years old, due to circumstances at home, I dont feel I need to go into them. I was 21 when I gave my heart to the Lord Jesus, and I have been through some things that I know I would have probably ended up being a basket case, if it were not for the Lord Jesus living in my heart. I know what the love of Jesus can do for a person in their life when they are sincere, I have been there. So you see, I do understand what you are going through to some extent. I know I have not gone through everything that some have gone through, but my life without Jesus would have been pure hell to put it bluntly. But the Lord held my hand through it and I trusted Him and things changed. He will do the same for you, but you have to let Him and trust Him. You will never be without trials or tribulation in your life, God allows them to make you strong, but Jesus promised He would never leave you nor forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such thing as you have. For He Himself (Jesus) has said, " I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me.

You never have to feel condemed about the things you have done in your past after you give your heart and life to Jesus for He has said.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold all things have become new.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh (your own sinful ways), but according to the Spirit ( the Spirit of God).

My heart goes out to you young people, I cannot stress enough how much God loves you and wants to be there for you. You see, sin separates you from God. But having Jesus in your heart reunites you with the Father. There is a sinners prayer on my site here, if you want to sincerely give your heart to Jesus and let God begin to transform you and your life into something beautiful. It is such a wonderful life serving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, because you then know that you are truly loved, with the utmost genuine love. If you do give your heart to Jesus, then go get yourself a bible and find yourself a bible believing church with a good youth group (Pray the Lord will show you what church you should attend in your area ) and learn to walk and grow and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit, will lead you and guide you into all truth. It may not always be easy serving the Lord, but it will ALWAYS be worth it and satisfying.

Praise God and good evening. Its been awhile. I have beens so busy with school and redoing my website, I am almost done it now (my website that is: it is also part of my school project). They have both just consumed my time. So please forgive me for not getting messages posted.

When I was doing my devotiions this morning before I went to school what I read really spoke to me alot about, just how much we need to be doers of the word and not just hearers only. I feel led to share this one with you, it comes from todays edition of Our Daily Bread.

When my son Steve came home from a concert recently, he had with him a free T-shirt and a brochure for an organization that helps needy children in a far-off continent. Apparently, one of the singers had issued a challenge.

"We wanted to change the world with our music," he said, but often all we do is sing. We decided that we were going to take action to change some lives so we started supporting some needy kids." Then he set forth the challenge, which Steve accepted. He then talked with his Bible-study group at church about supporting a child each month.

Most of us want to change the world for the better, but the job seems too big. So what if we decided to do at least one thing to change just one person's life? In the name of Jesus, who said that providing physical help would be the same as helping our Savior Himself. (Matthew 25:35-36 read uptop again),what if we reached out to one person with food or clothing, or transportation? And what if that person, wondering about our motive, asks why we helped? We could then help change that person's life for eternity by introducing him or her to the Savior...

Change the world? Lets start with changing one person in Jesus' name.  -Dave Branon

Even today something came up for me that my daughter had asked me about one of her friends and I was not sure what to answer her. And then this devotion came to my mind and I knew it was the Lord showing me about being a doer and not just a hearer, so I did just that, the answer I gave her about her friend was yes.

There are so many areas in life where we can touch someone elses life, all in the Love and the Name of our precious Lord Jesus. I want to hear the words 'Well done thou good and faithful servant' and I am sure you do to. Go out your way tomorrow to do something good for somebody, its well worth the reward it will bring.

Well praise God! I just want to let you know I will not be posting a message tonight as I am so swamped with homework. I had like 77 pages to read and do the work lol. I have got 10 pages to go yippie lol.

I do want to let you know GOD LOVES YOU and that no matter what you are going through,  know that God is in control!!  The Lord Jesus promised He would never leave you, nor forsake you. Hang in there,  He who has promised is FAITHFUL.

Offer The Sacrifice Of Praise

What a mighty awesome God we serve!!!! Do you ever reminisce on the things God has done for you in your life. I'm sure you do, if you know Jesus. You know when I think back on what God has not only brought me through but the miracles He has performed in my life and the lives of others that I know . The things I have seen. WOW!!! He is so very awesome. He deserves my  praise and worship. What about the things He has done in your life? He also deserves your praise and worship. Our lips should be always filled with praise for the Lord. For He is Good.

Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

 Think about Job and what he went through and how he continually gave praise to God. Things were so bad for Job, to the point that even his wife told him to curse God and die. But Job wanted no part of it. He knew his God! He knew his God was faithful and had reason for all things.

Job 2:9-10  Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!" But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept aversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

You want miracles to happen in your life, start praising God.  When your happy Praise God! When your sad Prasie God! When things are just so so in your life, Praise God! When you start praising God for the things you are believing for, your going to see things start to happen. These are the ways the Lord tell us to praise Him.

Psalm 150:1-6

Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!

Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!

Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with the stringed instruments and flutes!

Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise Ye the Lord.

Just posting this message on praise I feel Gods prescense so powerful right now in my computer room. What a mighty awesome God we serve. PRAISE HIS THRICE HOLY NAME !!!!!! I gave a challenge before for talking with God all the time now i give the challenge to praise and worship Him for who He is, what He has done for you, and what He is going to do for you. You will see what praise and worship does.

It has really been  impressed upon my heart by the Lord all weekend to speak of generational curses which may be a touchy subject with some.

Generational Curses are curses that have been passed down from generation to generation. From sins of our forefathers and ours. If there is a long history of say, Poverty; Alcoholism; Drugs; Pornography; Depression; Witchcraft; Cults; things like that, that are there from one generation to the next in your family line not necessarily all members of the family, but some in every generation.  Chances are then that it could be a generational curse. Which are brought on by sin and the practice of some of these. These generational curses can be broken.

Luke 10:19 Behold I give the the authority to tred upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 The following is a model prayer. It will guide you to pray breakthrough prayers that will release the power of God and break every generational curse. As you pray, trust the Holy Spirit to guide you. Then expect God to release blessings in such abundance that they will overflow and run after you! Pray.........

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name that is above every other name. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come to You sincerely with a desire to be free from the influence of all generational curses in my life. I declare that because of what You did for me on the cross of Calvary, I am cleansed and covered by the precious blood of Jesus and the devil has no power over me. I now confess all my sins, known and unknown. I repent of them right now in the name of Jesus and ask You to forgive me and I take back any jurisdiction I may have forfeited to the enemy. I also acknowledge the sins of all my forefathers in the name of Jesus and by the blood of the Lamb, I break and renounce the power of every demonic curse that was passed down to me through the sins and actions of my forefathers. I break the power and the hold of every curse that came to me through my sin and the sins of my forefathers. In the name of Jesus, I declare every legal hold and all legal ground of the enemy broken and destroyed. Satan no longer has jurisdiction to harass me or my family line through generational curses. Through the blood of Jesus I am free! Thank You Heavenly Father, for setting me free! I confess that my body, soul, and spirit is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. I am redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, and justified by the blood of Jesus. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for setting me free! I surrender my will to You. Use me in this end time hour as a member of Your victorious army to win souls for Your glory. In Jesus Name Amen and Amen!!!

John8:31-32  Then Jesus said to them who believed in Him, "If you abide in My word and my Word abides in you, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 8:36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Praise God you are now free from those generational curses. Stay free my friend. Remember we give satan rights when we listen to and do what he puts on our hearts and minds to do. He wants to destroy you. Renew your mind in Christ, because we have a King who is way more powerful and wants to bless us not destroy us."King Jesus." All Hail King Jesus!

I'm sure you know that song "There is Power in the Blood" if you dont, the chorus goes like this.

There is power, power, wonderous working power in the Blood of the Lamb.

In the precious Blood of the Lamb.

Oh the Blood that was shed at Calvary. What Jesus had to endure for our sakes was horendous. I dont think we will ever know till we get to heaven the depth of the pain Jesus suffered for us, so that we could be forgiven of our sin and go to heaven when we pass from this life to the next.  And all we have to do is repent ask and invite Jesus  in to live in our hearts. And then live for Him. What a price He had to pay for us. Have you ever truly sat and thought about it. When I saw the movie, "The Passion of the Christ",  every time that whip and then the scourge came down on Jesus it opened my eyes to the reality of what He must have took and endured, that it was for me. But it was also for you. I dont know how many of you seen the movie. The way the soldier at the end fell to his knees when the Blood sprayed him after he put the spear thru Jesus' side. I know that was a movie, but can you imagine the reality of when that happened to that soldier in biblical times for real. Wow. I am sure that what Jesus suffered was even deeper then what the movie portrayed. The Blood of our precious Jesus being shed changed history for us forever.

Ephesians 1:7-10  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him.

I frequently pray this prayer for the ones i love and for my friends and those who the Lord shows me to pray it for. It is in a prayer book that i have by (Jan Wallens: Higher Standard Ministries)  and it is a powerful prayer. Pray it for yourself and those you love and know and the ones God shows you to pray for.

The Blood of Jesus

In the name of Jesus Christ I now apply the blood of Jesus over myself and all my family and ____________(be specific). I apply the sactifying and redeeming blood of Jesus over every area of ours lives. The blood of Jesus brought defeat to satan on Calvary, and I declare all power and authority over him and command satan and all his spirits of darkness to leave now in Jesus name. I draw the blood-line of Jesus Christ around us and declare no evil can cross that blood-line in Jesus name.

In faith believing in obedience and reverence, the Blood of Jesus has been applied and His victory belongs to us now in Jesus's name for the glory of God.

For we have not been redeemed with corruptible things but with the precious blood of Christ.

1 Peter 1:17-19  And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 

The Precious Precious Blood of Jesus. So full of power.What an amazing love He has for us. Give all you've got for Jesus, He gave ALL He could give for you.

Tonights message maybe a little harsh, but its in love that i post  it and is what if felt the Lord has shown me to post.

SIN: What is SIN ? This is the way the bible describes it;

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Pretty self explanitory isnt it. I realize that we are not perfect and so does God, He created us. I am not talking about when you mess up and make mistakes, and your sorry about it and you go to the Lord and repent and move on with a lesson learned. What I am talking about is outright deliberate sin. When you know its wrong and you continue to do it without hesitation. Where there is no guilt or no remorse. If you continue in this sin your setting yourself up for a big fall. And your giving satan the right to do to you what he chooses. We have the authority over satan until we hand it over to him. For when you open those doors you give satan the authority because he has no authority over you that you dont give him. Some believe that God tempts them with sin. Temptation does not come from God. God allows trials to makes us strong, but He does not tempt us.

James 1:13-15  Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has concieved, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Brings forth death? This can be death to many things; Answered prayer, Financial blessing, Health, Relationships, your life itself but  most importantly, it could cause you to fall away from your walk with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The deeper you fall into sin the farther away you get from Jesus. When we give our heart to the Lord, we are to die to sin.

Romans 6:1-2  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!  How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Jesus is comming soon folks, its time for all of us to get it together in our walk with Jesus. Time is to short, its not worth the pleasure that you find in your sin. Moses gave all up he had for his walk with God. What an example he was.

Hebrews 11:24-26 By faith Moses, when he became of age refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasure of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ's greater riches, than treasures in Egypt for he looked to the reward.

God loves you so very much, and wants you to repent of these deliberate sins and to get right with Him again so that He can bless you with the blessings of your inheritance. Which are the promises of the Utmost High God written in the Word of God.

For tonights posting I am going to answer a question that was asked on the last message  i posted. Here was the question:

my question to you is, if a child is born of wedlock, or is unbaptized and dies, does that child go to hell? I'm curious.

To answer your question, a child will ALWAYS go to heaven no matter how they were concieved until they reach the age of accountability. There is no set age for that, because if somebody is born mentally challenged and they never understand about what Jesus did for them, how can they reject it or accept it without understanding? So then: No matter how old they get they will never reach the age of accountability. On the other hand if a child is old enough to understand and rejects the plan of salvation then they are accountable. Again there is no set age for this. But by the time one is a teen they would for the most understand. And if they say no to repenting of their sin and refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior who shed His blood, died and then rose again. Then they are accountable. For it is in rejecting and unbelieving that Jesus is the Son of God that died and rose again that sends a person to hell, because sin cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven and without Christ then we are in our sin still.

Mark 10:13-16 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them. " Let the little children come to Me and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

But God does not want anybody to go to hell but the choice is ours from the decision we make to accept or reject Jesus Christ, :

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

A child will always go to heaven. Also nowhere in the word of God was a child ever baptized even Jesus was a grown man when He got baptized. I hope this has answered your question.

Well God evening, its been a few days i guess lol. I had a very full weekend and busy last couple days, but i am back at it. Praise God.

Disobedience, hmmm, we have all been there, haven't we. At one time or another, not one of us is exempt from it. God gave us our own free will to choose to do,  or not to do His will. Jonah was a man of God who chose not to do Gods will for some time, and he suffered the consequenses because of it. He also tried to run from God:

Jonah 1:1-3 Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, "Arise go to Nineveh that great city and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me"  But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence fo the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

Now we all know you can't run from God. You will run right into Him. God is omnipresent. There is no where that we can go that God isnt there. Our disobedience will only bring alot of turmoil, in our lives and into the lives of those around us.  Take a look at what the poor fishermen went through because of Jonah's disobedience.

Jonah 1:4-12 But the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea. Then the mariners were afraid; and every man cried out to his god, and threw the cargo that was in the ship into the sea, to lighten the load. But Jonah had gone down into the lowest parts of the ship, had lain down, and was fast asleep. So the captain came to him, and said to him. "What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God, perhaps your God will consider us, so that we may not perish." And they said to one another, " Come, let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this trouble has come upon us." So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah. Then they said to him, " Please tell us! For whose cause is this trouble upon us? What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? And of what people are you?" So he said to them, " I am a Hebrew, and i fear the Lord , the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land."  Then the men were exceedingly afraid, and said to him, "Why have you done this?"  For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.  Then they said to him," What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm for us?"- for the sea was growing more tempestuous. And he said to them, " Pick me up and throw me into the sea; the the sea will become calm for you. For I know that this great tempest, is because of me."

You see when we choose to disobey God, it affects everyone around us, as well as ourselves, but how often do we think of it this way?  Like i said we are ALL guilty of the sin of disobedience at one time or another. When God tells us to do something for Him, or not to do something, and we dont listen, or try and do it another way other then what God show us to do or not to do, there is always a consequence. God is a loving God but He is also a Righteous God. So in Jonah's disobedience the fishermen were affected by Jonah's actions to run from God.

Take some time tonight to sit and think if your running from God in any area of your life, or continuing to do what God has showed you not to do, while thinking of ways to justify it. Then take a look around and see who's lives your affecting from your disobedience. When the Lord shows us to do something, it is always for our good or the good of others and He has His reasons on why it is you that He wants to do a certain thing or doesnt want you to do a certain thing. Its like when we ask our children (if you have any) to do something and they dont do it, or we ask them to not  do something and they do it. We dicispline them for their disobedience and reward them for there obedience. Thats the same with God. With disobedience comes discipline and with obedience comes blessings. Were robbing ourselves and those around us because of what we choose and choose not to do.

Jonah knew the storm at sea was a result of his disobedience. What about you? Do you acknowledge that maybe some of the storms in your life and those around you are because of your disobedience?  Something to think about isn't it?

How much time do you spend in prayer in a day? Do you spend quality time with the Lord, or just when you need or want something? When Jesus was here on earth as a man, He spent many hours a day in prayer with His Father. Not just because He needed something but because He loved His Father. He loved the fellowship He had with Him.

Luke 6:12  Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

I see it like this, what if, you loved someone so very much and you lived in the same household as they did, but they never spoke to you unless they wanted something. They forgot until then that you were even there. And all you wanted was for them to spend some quality time with you. Well I am almost sure that thats the way the Lord feels sometimes. If you invited Jesus to come live in your heart and be your personal savior then He lives in your house and so desires to have quality time with you. To have fun with you even.

 I am not perfect by far, i have many faults, but I love my Jesus. This is a very true story, it happened to me. About 4 yrs ago i guess.  Every morning I would make toast for my breakfast while i was making my lunch for work. And all the time when the toaster would pop i would literally jump. I would laugh out loud and say " Lord why do i jump? I know that its going to pop." And i would talk with the Lord general conversation just because He is my best friend. So anyways, a few mornings went by and everymorning it was the same thing, I would jump when the toaster would pop, and laugh. Then this one morning when i jumped and laughed, and again said "Lord why do i do that"  and i was laughing. I literally heard God laugh with me in an audible laugh, It was sooooo awesome. He has the most deep bellied laugh i have ever heard. And i said to Him, " Lord You are so awesome that You love me that much that You would take the time to literally laugh with me, and to allow me to hear you laugh, about something so small. To take the time and have some fun with me." Never in my life will I ever forget that. I love spending time with the Lord. Serious time and fun time. That didnt happen to me because i only spent a short while in prayer every day, I believe it happend because i always talk with God. Who else can you go to about anything and everything. Jesus promised He would always be there.

Hebrews 13:5  Let your conduct be without covetousness:be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Jesus is there thru the good times and the bad times. We can pray and talk with Him any time, night or day. And He wants us to, He loves us so very much.

Do you love Jesus with all your heart? Then spend some quality time with Him, talk with Him about everything the good in your life and the bad. He understands and is loving, kind and forgiving. But He wants you to have awesome communication with Him. And the greatest thing is, He will never condem you with what you tell Him. For it is written:

Romans 8:1  There is therfore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

I challenge you today, to have serious time with the Lord and to also have some fun time with Him. You may never have the blessing of hearing Him laugh audiably, but you will sure draw close to Him. And you will see just how awesome it is talking with Jesus on a regular basis about anything and everything. He loves the time we spend with Him. I bet I tell Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit that I love them at least 10 times in a day. He is my Lord, My all, My everything. Make Him your best friend you will see what joy it brings, when "Jesus"  is your best friend.

We are living in a time and age where sin, death, disease, sickness, lust, lying, stealing, sexual immorality, murders, backstabbing, cults, false religions and many other things are going on.  The bible calls it the End Times or last days. They are all tools the devil uses to destroy, so that you either never come to Christ or are hindered in your walk with Christ if you let satan use you.  Are you part of the problem or part of the solution ? Do you give in when tempted or do you stand for what the word of God says?

2 Timothy 3:1-9  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away. For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by varioius lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be mainifest to all, as theirs also was.

Satan is on a rampage because he knows his time is very short. He is not as much concerned about those who are not saved or the fruitless christians because they are not a danger to him. The children of God who are on fire for Jesus are the ones satan works hardest to destroy. He wants to stop them, because God uses His obedient children to destroy satans plans. Souls get saved, backsliders return to Jesus. The sick are made well. Miracles happen, because we have the Spirit of the Living God on the inside. Things can get pretty rough at times for the child of God but Gods word says:

2 Corinthians 4:7-10  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels; that the excellence of the power may be of God and not us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- Always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Is Christ's Spirit manifested in your body and in your life, or do you turn to the ways of the world and give into temptaion when things get tough and satan comes on strong. I choose to stand my ground on what the Word of God says and stand up against the things satan throws my way. That doesnt mean it will be easy. It takes prayer and staying close to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Satan is going to throw things our way but Its like the words of this one song. "If i never had a problem, I wouldnt know my God could solve them" We have the Spirit of the Living God, living in us. Lets live like we do. Stand firm in these end times the benefits are awesome. Each trial and temtation that we overcome will make us stronger and closer to Jesus. And we are more then conquerers in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Stand your ground in the Lord, the time is to short to keep playing games with the devil and giving into his temptations and worldly desires that pull you away from the Master Jesus Christ.

Have you ever gone through a time when serving our precious Lord Jesus that it just didnt seem real, although you knew in your heart that He was real. I went through a period like that many years ago. I recently read a blog simular to this same subject and felt led to post a message reguarding it.

 It would have been about, oh i would say 22 yrs ago now that this happened to me. I knew in my heart that heaven was real; but in reality it just didnt seem real. I knew the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were real; but they in reality they didnt seem real. I knew in my heart that hell was real; and it was the same thing. In reality it just didnt seem real. It was awful I hated feeling that way and I felt guilty towards the Lord for it.  And  God spoke directly to me through a christian tv show called 100 Huntley Street. And a scripture that i claimed daily trying to get rid of this awful doubt in my mind. The scripture was:

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there', and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you".

That was all I had, was the faith of a mustard seed. Do you know how small they are? They are so tiny. I totally felt that God didnt care about me anymore with everything that was and wasnt going on in my life at that time. (I was only about 2 yrs old in the Lord at the time.) I would literally force myself to read my bible leaning on  this scrpiture about the mustard seed of faith. I would ask God to fill me with a hunger and desire for Him and His word. For the longest time nothing changed but still i read the bible (forcing myself still) daily and believing that scripture.

Then one day when i was getting ready to go to school (upgrading) I was waiting for a cab and had about 15 mins to wait, so i turned on my tv and 100 Huntley street was on. This man that was preaching, he stopped preaching and pointed his finger straight at the camera (which pointed directly at me) and said. " You young lady in a little town in northern Saskatchewan, You think God doesnt care about you anymore. I want to tell you God Cares." and he went back to preaching.  (This show was from Toronto Ontario.)  I lived in little northern town in Saskatchewan, and that is exactly how i felt that God didnt care about me. I would say that narrowed it down wouldn't you. I knew He was speaking right to me. So i went to school and as I was sitting there I said to myself  "that wasnt for me"  And God spoke to me very clearly. He said "YES that was for you".  I almost started crying right there in school to think that God cared so much about what I was going through at the time that He would speak to me in the way that He did.

Things gradually started to change. Everyday i asked God to fill me with a hunger and desire for Him and His word. And i clung to that scripture about a mustard seed of faith daily. I think it was one of the hardest trials i have gone thru in the sense that it felt soooo awful not to feel Gods prescense in my life when i had been so close to Him before that.

If you want to hunger and thirst for Gods word and for the closenss of Jesus keep on asking, keep on believing , even if its only a mustard seed of faith. He who has promised is FAITHFUL. If we ask anything in His (Jesus) name according to Gods word He will do it.

John 14:13-14 And whatever you ask in My name (Jesus), that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name I will do it.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And He said to me, "My grace is suffiicient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Never ever give up thats what the enemy of our souls would want us to do. After all that is the devils plan to destroy us.  So just Keep chugging for the Lord Jesus, even when it seems impossible. Jesus is our hope and strength to carry on. And to pull us through whatever comes our way. Life is Hard, but God is Good !!!

Hi everybody This evening i really felt led to post a message from the devotion book Our Daily Bread. It is from July 30/04. But it really has a good message in it that i think will encourage many people. Here is the message.

They know Tom Dotson pretty well in the prisons of Michigan. They ought to. He spent more than a decade behind bars.

Tom gave his testimony at the annual banquet for prison chaplins  in Muskegon, Michigan. He said he had grown up in a Christian home but had rebelled and rejected the gospel. His wife, who sang at the banquet, stayed with him in spite of his repeated failures. A prison chaplain faithfully worked with him, Tom genuinely surrendered to Jesus Christ, and his life was changed.

Dotson urged Christians workers, "Continue on your ministry with people like me, no matter how frustrating. We may have lots of setbacks. But dont give up. There's power for change in even the most frustrating person through the sacrifice of Christ, the One who really sets us free." Then , looking right at the chaplain who had patiently witnessed to him, Tom said tenderly, "Thank you for not giving up on me."

God will "abundantly pardon" all who come to Him.

Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

His powerful word can bring change:

Isaian 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please; and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Freeing men and women from the prison of sin:

John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Are you about to give up on someone you think will never change? DON'T !! Keep at it.

Be not weary in well-doing

Though your labors cause you pain-

There could never be a harvest

Without sowing of the gran.  -Anon-

Instead of giving up on a person; Give that person to God.

 I thought this was a very good message for those of us who are praying for the wayward ones that we love. My daughter is one of them wayward ones . But God is faithful who has promised Amen?!!!! I will NEVER give up. I am persuaded that God is able to keep that which i have commited to Him until that day. if you would like some prayer for someone wayward leave me a message and i will pray for that loved one of yours. If you feel led to pray for my daughter please do.

Love: there are 8 different definitions for love in the Webster Dictionary here is one of them.  a : unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: as (1) : the fatherly concern of God for humankind (2) : brotherly concern for others b : a person's adoration of God

The word love is so loosely tossed around these days. There is no action behind it . They say love is blind. I once heard a preacher say "no" to that and he said " love is seeing all of somebodies faults, and all and loving them anyway". I tend to agree with him all the way. God saw all of our faults and still does and loves us thru thick and thin. That is why He sent His only begotten Son.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

Jesus was obedient because of His love for the Father and us. it was love why He went to the cross. It was love that held Him to the cross. He didnt have to do what He did it for you and me. Praise His name that He did. You see love is an action word, it isnt just something you say, its also something that you do. In 1 Corinthians 13:1-13  this is what God tells us love is. We call it the love chapter in the bible. Go ahead and read the whole chapter, its a great chapter. This is part of it.

 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 Love suffers long and is kind; does not envy; love does not parade itself; is not puffed up; does not behave rudely; does not seek its own; is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity (sin), but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things. *LOVE NEVER FAILS*

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three but the greatest of these is LOVE.

Pretty awesome eh? When was the last time you told your parents your sweetheart or your children or even your friends that you love them. When was the last time you sacrificed anything for them. Thats love. You know I always told my children as they were growing up to treat each other everyday as if it were their last day. Because we just dont know when its somebodies last day. I never allow my family (mom, dad, brothers, sistiers) children or my Sweetheart to walk out the door without saying " I love you" nor do i hang up the phone without saying it. Its so important to treat those that we love With love everyday, so that should they pass on there are no regrets.

GOD LOVES YOU: HE PROVED IT, HE SENT HIS SON IN OUR PLACE

If Jesus came to your home unannounced today would you be ashamed of what you where doing when He showed up? Would you scurry about trying to hide things that you do not want Him to see what you read or do. Or change the channel really fast  and hope that  He did not see what you were watcing on tv? Or would you welcome Him in with open arms, knowing that the life you live, lines up with how He tells us in His word to live. How can we expect to live according to Gods word, if we are never in His word. God tells us that we are to renew our minds.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Its knowing the word of God and getting it into our spirits and our hearts that renews our minds. It is  powerful and will change us from the inside out. We will begin think and live the way the Lord wants us to. After all we are accountable for all that we say, do, and thnk.

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of the spirit and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.

When was the last time you picked up your bible and spent quality time in it. Asking God for His wisdom and to show you what He would have you to know. We need to eat our spiritual food as much as we need physical food, if not more then. If we starve ourselves of the word of God we will die spiritually, or we will never get our feet off the ground in our walk with Jesus.

Romans 8:5-7  For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally (worldly) minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

I cannot stess enough just how important it is to read and study your bible on a daily basis. Make time for it. Discipline yourself. Set a quiet time everyday when you can spend that quality time with God in His word. Give God the best of your day, not the end of your day when you are so tired that you quickly read the word and fall asleep without having that time to meditate on what you just read, or time for God to speak to you and show you marvalous things. Take time out for Jesus, He took time for you. You will see your christian life blossom and bloom into a shinning light for Jesus. And you will walk in authority and victory of the Son of God. Others will see the change in you and want who you have the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

How many people do you know that are not going to heaven when they pass on into eternity? And how many of these people have you neglected to share the Love of Jesus with? Will they say this about you on that day of judgment OR will they rejoice and thankyou for sharing the plan of salvation with them? What if that person who led you to Christ was to embarrassed or was afraid of what you would say when they spoke of Jesus to you ?? Something to think about isn't it?   The bible says:

Mark 16:15-18  And He said to thiem, " Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name (Jesus)  they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover."

See, its not up to the person next door, its up to YOU and ME to go tell. Your friends and loved ones lives in eternity are at stake. What are you going to do about it ????
